BREAKING NEWS: Man attacks during Hanukkah celebration at rabbi’s home

Various people were stabbed during a Hanukkah celebration at a rabbi’s home on Saturday in Monsey, NY.

The suspect fled the scene, driving across the George Washington Bridge before being caught and identified by authorities.

Aron Kohn, who was inside while the attack took place, said that the suspect went into the crowded basement, took out a knife and charged at people. Kohn described the scene as frantic and said that he began to throw furniture while the attacker was in action.

Lazer Klein, a neighborhood resident, saw people fleeing the scene, screaming and contacting the police. Klein said: I saw someone lying on the stairs. I saw people getting carried out. I saw blood. One guy was lying limp on the stretcher.”

Upon hearing of the attacks, Governor Cuomo tweeted, “I am horrified by the stabbing of multiple people at a synagogue in Rockland county tonight.”

Wounded victims were sent to Westchester Medical Center and Montefiore Nyack Hospital.
